We are seeking a Writer for a long-term project to create a book by one of the most famous contemporary political figures.
The hero's name is not disclosed at this stage due to confidentiality obligations. Detailed information will be provided to candidates who pass the initial selection and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The project is estimated to last for two years and involves creating a large-scale documentary book that combines the hero's personal story, historical context, and political events of the era.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with the main hero and other project participants
- Work with a large volume of information, archival materials, and documents
- Create literary text in the first person, preserving the hero's individual style, logic of thinking, and lexical peculiarities
- Interact with the editorial group, archivists, historical consultants, and the hero's representatives
- Participate in discussions about the book's structure and the development of individual episodes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in writing books, memoirs, biographies, or other major documentary works
- Can write in the first person in a way that the text is perceived as the hero's own speech
- Possesses a high level of literary skill
- Can conduct in-depth interviews and work with a large volume of information
- Is knowledgeable about contemporary politics, history, and public life
- Is capable of quickly immersing themselves in complex historical and political material
- Can work in a team and accept editorial feedback
- Is prepared to comply with strict confidentiality requirements
Will be an advantage:
- Experience working with public figures, politicians, public leaders, or heads of major organizations
- Education in journalism, philology, history, political science, international relations, or related fields
- Experience writing books on historical or socio-political topics
Conditions:
- Project-based work for approximately two years
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Mandatory presence in Moscow for meetings and interviews
- Willingness to travel on business trips
- Work in a professional team of editors, researchers, and subject matter consultants
- Signing an NDA before receiving information about the hero and starting work
- Transfer of exclusive property rights to the created text under contract
- Cooperation terms and remuneration amount will be discussed individually with final candidates
