We are currently looking for a strong Flutter developer who can work not only with the application's Flutter layer but also confidently handle tasks at the mobile platform level. It's important for us to understand how the application interacts with the iOS and Android systems, especially regarding VPN connections, network restrictions, and background operations.

Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of mobile applications using Flutter.
• Integration of Flutter with native Swift and Kotlin code.
• Working with VPN functionality and connection mechanisms at the platform level.
• Implementation and maintenance of connection, reconnection, and VPN status tracking logic.
• Handling iOS and Android network restrictions.
• Supporting background modes and stable application operation during network changes, device lock, and connection recovery.
• Integration and refinement of Platform Channels / Method Channels.
• Diagnosing and fixing issues arising at the Flutter and native code levels.
• Collaboration with the team on developing mobile VPN products.

What's Important

Flutter

• Solid commercial experience in Flutter development.
• Good understanding of Flutter application architecture.
• Experience with publishing and maintaining mobile applications.
• Skills in diagnosing and optimizing performance.

iOS / Swift

• Solid experience in Swift development.
• Understanding of the iOS application lifecycle.
• Experience working with native iOS APIs.
• Understanding of permissions, entitlements, and capabilities.
• Experience integrating Swift code with Flutter via Platform Channels / Method Channels.
• Ability to diagnose and fix iOS-side issues.
• Desirable: understanding or readiness to quickly learn Network Extension and VPN mechanics on iOS.

Android / Kotlin

• Solid experience in Kotlin development.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle.
• Experience working with permissions, services, and background modes.
• Experience integrating Kotlin code with Flutter via Platform Channels / Method Channels.
• Understanding of Android network and background process restrictions.
• Desirable: understanding or readiness to quickly learn Android VpnService.

Will Be a Plus

• Experience working with VPN applications.
• Experience with Network Extension on iOS.
• Experience with Android VpnService.
• Experience implementing network or system modules at the native level.
• Experience publishing applications in the App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with push notifications and background tasks.

Important

We need more than just a developer who only works with Flutter.

A significant portion of the tasks involves VPN connections, platform network restrictions, system permissions, application background operation, and handling connection states. To solve these tasks, solid practical experience with native Swift and Kotlin code is required.

If your native development experience is limited to minor adjustments or basic familiarity, this position is likely not a good fit.
