Construction Engineer

Tasks:

• conducting current and seasonal external inspections of roofs, building blind areas, building structures, internal premises, window and door openings, assessing the waterproofing of utility lines and channels;
• developing proposals for current and capital repairs, and compiling repair schedules;
• writing technical specifications and justifications for procurement procedures for the creation of project documentation, for the execution of current and capital repair work, and for the survey of buildings and structures;
• interacting with contracting organizations regarding the execution of construction and installation work, maintenance of buildings and structures, and engineering systems, from task assignment to control of its completion;
• interacting with design organizations regarding task assignment for design, review of project documentation sections, material and equipment specifications, and project costing;
• participating in the company's budget preparation (calculating and inputting cost indicators for necessary building and structure repairs);
• fulfilling contractual obligations with contracting organizations in terms of organizational and documentary support for construction and installation work, and conducting briefings;
• controlling the execution of construction work by the contractor/subcontractor at the site in terms of operational quality control of work (monitoring the technology of construction work and evaluating the quality of materials used), checking the compliance of work with project documentation, and fulfilling safety and labor protection requirements.

For us, it is important:

• at least 2 years of experience in construction;
• experience in technical supervision of construction and installation work is welcome;
• proficient user of MS Office (Excel, World), knowledge of specialized software (AutoCAD or similar for working with drawings), 1C, estimating software (Grand-Smeta, etc.);
• knowledge of construction production technology and organization, understanding the sequence and methods of all types of construction and installation work (CIW);
• ability to compile and read maps, drawings, diagrams, calculate work volumes, check estimates, and maintain as-built documentation (acts, work logs, certificates, etc.);
• ability to prepare comprehensive reports and other technical documentation for assessing the condition of buildings and premises (inspection acts, defect statements);
• ability to competently prepare tender documentation (writing technical specifications, justifications for the use of a particular procurement procedure)
• ability to organize the work of a contracting organization and establish control over the progress of work;
• developed communication skills at various levels;
• skills in composing letters and conducting business correspondence with contracting organizations and government bodies.

Conditions:

• employment according to the Labor Code as part of the Film Studio staff;
• work schedule: 5x2, from 09:00 to 18:00 / 10:00 to 19:00;
