Look, we know the stereotype. Mention an "outlet", and people picture endless rows of discount racks, uninspired banners, and generic sale badges.

But Lounge by Zalando operates differently. We are actively redefining off-price retail, subverting expectations for what a shopping app can be. To do that, we need a Senior Designer who can elevate a routine promo into a cultural moment – someone who truly understands the grid before they break it.

Working side by side with Creative Direction, Art Direction, and Copy, you will build bold typographic systems, motion assets, and social designs that make people stop scrolling. The goal? To make them think, “Wait, an outlet did that?”

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You manage creative projects end-to-end, taking full ownership of project timelines and leading design initiatives from initial concept to final delivery.
• You establish, build, and meticulously manage robust Design Systems to ensure design scalability and consistency across all brand touchpoints.
• You apply an expert understanding of typography to elevate the brand's visual storytelling, campaign assets, and daily digital communications.
• You conceptualize and execute high-impact static and motion design assets for various marketing channels, ensuring an innovative and dynamic digital presence.
• You develop dedicated, visually captivating social media designs (both organic and paid) that increase customer engagement and brand awareness.
• You translate complex design systems and project frameworks into simple, high-impact, and persuasive presentations tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
• You stay ahead of global design and cultural trends, ensuring Lounge’s aesthetic output remains contemporary, progressive, and highly relevant.

• You hold a relevant university degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Arts, or a related field – or possess equivalent practical qualifications.
