We are looking for an IT specialist who can not only accept requests from users but also understand the infrastructure hands-on.
The main focus of the position is corporate telephony and IP telephony: PBX systems, SIP trunks, internal extensions, call routing, and diagnosing communication problems. At the same time, the specialist will be involved in other tasks related to supporting the company's IT infrastructure.
What will be your responsibilities?
— Monitor the performance of servers, corporate services, and IT infrastructure. — Quickly identify failures, perform initial diagnostics, and independently resolve typical technical problems. — Support users: workstations, software, accesses, internet, VPN, and peripheral equipment. — Administer user accounts and basic access rights. — Support corporate telephony and PBX systems: internal extensions, telephone channels, routing, and connecting new numbers. — Work with SIP trunks: connect, configure, and diagnose problems with registration and call completion. — Troubleshoot situations where a call cannot be established, sound is not transmitted, or one-way audio occurs. — Analyze PBX logs and SIP/RTP traffic to identify the cause of problems. — Control the operation of corporate email, website, and other key services. — Monitor domains, SSL certificates, licenses, subscriptions, and payment of IT services. — Interact with telecom operators, contractors, and IT service providers. — Maintain technical documentation and a knowledge base of solutions for typical problems. — If a problem goes beyond the scope of responsibility, perform the necessary diagnostics and transfer it to a specialized professional with a clear description of the problem and verification results. — Monitor basic information security requirements: accesses, software updates, backups, antivirus protection, logging, and secure data transmission channels. — Conduct initial verification of IT systems for compliance with applicable RK legislation requirements in the field of information security and personal data protection.
What is important We need a specialist with practical experience — someone who has actually worked with telephony.
Required: — at least 2 years of experience in IT Support, system administration, or IT Operations; — practical experience with PBX systems and IP telephony; — understanding of SIP and RTP, basic SIP messages (INVITE, REGISTER, BYE, etc.); — understanding of the principles of SIP trunks, telephone channels, and call routing; — basic network knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS; — confident understanding of Windows and basic knowledge of Linux; — experience with monitoring and logs; — ability to independently find the cause of a technical problem, not just fix its consequences; — basic understanding of information security and personal data protection; — understanding of basic RK legislation requirements in the field of IS and personal data protection; — understanding of the principles of access management, authentication, backup, logging, and software updates; — ability to distinguish a problem that can be solved independently from one that needs to be transferred to a specialized professional.
Will be a big plus — Asterisk / FreePBX / 3CX or similar PBX systems; — Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus; — Wireshark and other SIP/RTP traffic analysis tools; — Active Directory / LDAP; — Docker; — Bash / PowerShell / Python; — experience with Help Desk systems; — experience participating in internal information security checks or audits.
If you have experience with PBX systems, SIP trunks, configuring call routing, and diagnosing communication problems — this is exactly the experience we are particularly interested in.
However, the position is not limited to telephony. As a specialist, you will work with the company's IT infrastructure as a whole, so it is important to have a sufficiently broad technical outlook.
