DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer — Teletype

Salary range: 250,000 - 350,000 ₽ net

Ster is a fintech service that helps tourists pay for goods and services in their country of stay: hotels, taxis, restaurants, excursions, transport, and offline purchases.
We are developing a technological product for the Russian and Asian markets and are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the team, help improve platform reliability and security, and participate in the development of company engineering standards and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer environments in Kubernetes
- Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the company's infrastructure resources
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Configure, optimize, and maintain CI/CD processes
- Interact with external service support on integration and operation issues
- Work with the information security team: implement and control security requirements
- Implement supply chain security and container/image security practices in development and delivery processes
- Develop access models: RBAC, IAM
- Develop recommendations for the development and improvement of the current infrastructure
- Optimize infrastructure costs
What we expect:
- Commercial experience in DevOps / DevSecOps / SRE for at least 5 years
- Practical experience with Terraform
- Solid experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with high-load systems
- Experience in fintech / payment projects
- Understanding of infrastructure security principles, hardening, vulnerability management, and secure delivery of changes
- Experience operating PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience implementing security checks in CI/CD
- Experience with Vault, PKI, secrets management
- Experience with SonarQube
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch
- Experience configuring and supporting web servers and reverse proxies
- Experience building monitoring based on Prometheus / Grafana
- Experience with centralized logging systems, including ELK
- Experience operating Java applications and basic understanding of JVM tuning
- Ability to effectively switch between planned and urgent tasks
- Experience with task management and tracking systems
- Participation in architectural decisions
- At least 2 years at each previous job
Will be a plus:
- Programming skills
- Experience with cloud platforms
Tasks for the probationary period:
- Study the project's subject area and business requirements
- Study the current stack, infrastructure, and existing engineering practices, and propose recommendations for improving stability, security, and efficiency
- Implement a test environment based on the proposed example using the company's adopted approaches to automation and security
