What tasks await you

Projects and Implementations

You will lead cross-functional projects for the development of corporate software and SaaS services: from idea generation, market research, and pilot testing to company-wide implementation. In the role of an internal technical customer, you will define project goals and scope, manage the plan, risks, and dependencies, and coordinate related teams. You will also act as a driver of change, bring initiatives to completion, and defend the budget and key decisions before management and internal stakeholders.

Portfolio and Budget

You will manage the product portfolio throughout all stages of its lifecycle: from defining needs and budget to controlling usage, renewal, or decommissioning. You will develop consumption and budgeting models, optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), and manage changes on a global company scale. Additionally, you will participate in vendor negotiations as an expert, influence contract terms and licensing schemes, and be responsible for the licensing compliance of the portfolio and risk management.

Methodology and Control

You will develop regulations and standards for working with licenses and software for operational teams (procurement, inventory, and support), and monitor their compliance through audits. You will also handle complex escalations related to software operation, automate SAM processes, and eliminate unnecessary steps where possible. Operational procurement, accounting, and license issuance are handled by specialized teams (procurement, support, logistics) – you will be responsible for the rules, processes, and the final result.

We expect you to have

• At least three years of experience in a similar role in license management or technical management
• Experience with competitive procurement procedures as a customer/expert
• Analytical thinking skills, ability to structure large volumes of data, and proficiency in Excel and BI tools at a user level
• Understanding of process approaches and standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, set priorities, and work with uncertainty
• Understanding of the corporate software and SaaS lifecycle, and knowledge of the licensing schemes of major vendors
• Ability to create technical specifications based on customer requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with related teams
• Experience in defending budgets, initiatives, and decisions before management and cross-functional stakeholders
• English language proficiency sufficient for reading documentation

It would be a plus if you have

• Experience with licensing in large geographically distributed companies or large corporate environments
• Participation in projects for IT asset optimization and auditing, license risk management, and backup of critical SaaS services
• Experience implementing new corporate services or SaaS products from scratch
• Higher education in Information Technology
• Understanding of the principles of corporate IT infrastructure, SaaS, IaaS, domain services, and authentication mechanisms
• Budgeting experience (plan-fact analysis, cost justification, working with change drivers)
• Ability to write SQL/YQL queries or experience with ready-made analytical queries
• Certificates in project management or ITAM/SAM
