Who we are looking for
We are looking for a project manager for a major project that includes software refinement and the supply of a large volume of equipment. The key task is equipment selection, working with suppliers, and organizing all project work from planning to handover to the customer.

An accredited IT company from Moscow. We develop software, engage in system integration and technical support, including for state defense orders. Our solutions work where reliability and information security are important. Therefore, we have a real infrastructure, with strict requirements, without any "workarounds".
What you will be doing
- Project management: planning, deadlines, resources, budget, risks.
- Equipment selection for project requirements: market analysis, comparison of technical and commercial proposals, preparation of selection justification.
- Supplier search, price, deadline, and delivery terms negotiation, contract finalization.
- Organization of equipment and component procurement, monitoring of delivery times and quality.
- Organization of incoming inspection of delivered equipment and shipment to the customer.
- Organization and control of software and design documentation refinement by internal departments and external contractors.
- Customer interaction on project execution issues, preparation and approval of project documentation.
- Monitoring of contract obligations fulfillment, preparation of closing documents.
- Organization of software implementation and user training.
- Regular project status reporting to the customer and management.
Requirements:
- Project management experience of 3+ years.
- Experience with complex projects involving software implementation and equipment supply.
- Experience in equipment selection (IT, server, network, peripheral) and specification development.
- Successful experience negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers: cost reduction, agreement on deadlines and terms.
- Experience in preparing technical specifications and project reporting documentation.
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Ability to work with documents, fluent oral and written communication.
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment, responsibility, initiative.
- Higher technical education.
