Salary: 130,000–160,000 ₽ per month
ZAO "Design Institute for Reconstruction and Construction of Oil and Gas Facilities" (ZAO «PIRS») is a leading Russian design institute specializing in the design of oil and gas field development, oil and gas transportation, and storage facilities. We are looking for a Chief Specialist/Lead Design Engineer for the Construction Department.
We offer various cooperation formats: employment in the office or remotely on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the construction part of project and working documentation for series: KR, AS, KJ (Reinforced Concrete), KM (Metal Structures), and perform calculations.
- Issue design documentation (PD) and working documentation (RD) assignments to related departments.
- Address comments from clients and Glavgosexpertiza (State Expertise).
- Develop main technical solutions.
- Technical and norm control of project and working documentation in accordance with current Russian regulatory technical documents (NTD RF) and client regulatory documentation (Gazprom, Rosneft, Transneft), and perform calculations: pile and shallow foundations for buildings and structures, reinforced concrete slabs, reinforced concrete and metal beams, using calculation software - structural calculations, including planar and spatial frame structures.
Requirements:
- Higher education in construction;
- Proficient PC user: AutoCAD, SCAD Office / similar calculation software;
- Skills in performing calculations — pile and shallow foundations for buildings and structures, reinforced concrete slab calculations, reinforced concrete and metal beam calculations, column, post, support calculations;
- Ability to perform load collection: for foundations of buildings and structures, for supports of pipelines and overpasses, for planar and spatial building frames and structures, for individual load-bearing elements of buildings and structures;
- Experience in designing industrial facilities, with a preference for oil and gas industry facilities;
- Experience interacting with expert reviews, including state expertise (GGE), is desirable.
