About the project: A platform for automating secure software development. It allows embedding security checks into the development pipeline (CI/CD) or fully automating the connection and scanning of repositories from GitLab instances. Our product is actively developing, and the number of implementations is increasing. Therefore, we are looking for a technical writer who will help the team preserve and multiply knowledge. We write documentation in lightweight markup, using the Docs as code principle. Our target audience is mainly technical specialists (system administrators, implementation engineers, developers, analysts), so the work of a technical writer often involves deep immersion in technologies and various aspects of development and operation.

Tasks: • create and update technical documentation for product deployment, configuration, and operation; • create and update project documentation for product implementation; • interact with developers, availability and implementation engineers, architects, etc.; • independently test documentation and products from the perspective of the target audience.

Requirements: ✔️ experience in developing technical documentation — at least 3 years; ✔️ experience with any lightweight text markup for Docs as code (mandatory!); ✔️ understanding of version control systems and experience with Git (mandatory!); ✔️ experience with UNIX family OS at the level of a confident user/administrator; ✔️ experience in preparing project documentation; ✔️ high IT literacy; ✔️ excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to clearly articulate thoughts in writing; ✔️ developed communication skills.

Will be an advantage: ✔️ any experience as a developer, system administrator, implementation engineer; ✔️ experience in operating or documenting Openstack, or other virtualization platforms (AWS, GCP, VMware, etc.); ✔️ knowledge of any programming languages.
