In practice, this means we will be solving the following tasks:
- Ensure the operability of a geographically distributed infrastructure and services (we have 1000+ servers, 2 data centers in Moscow + an office data center).
- Work with the virtualization system (OpenNebula, Ceph): create, delete, migrate VMs, troubleshoot virtualization system issues, optimize resources.
What is important to us in you:
- Ability to find problems on server hardware running Linux OS.
- Configuration, monitoring, and optimization of the backup system.
- Understanding of backup principles.
- Basic knowledge of DBMS - mySQL, postgreSQL.
- Creation of inventory, writing roles in Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring and visualization systems - prometheus, grafana.
- OSI/ISO model.
