Backend Lead for the Mobility team

We are working to make using public transport and car navigation even more convenient. We help users compare and choose the optimal scenarios for moving around the city: by taxi, car-sharing, scooters, public transport, or personal car.

What tasks await you

Designing microservices and their interaction for complex business logic You will be designing new features: thinking through APIs, communication schemas with clients, and microservice interactions. Additionally, you will be improving the existing backend architecture.

Developing and launching features for users worldwide You will work on a variety of tasks and projects: from launching applications in new countries to developing new scenarios affecting the order cycle.

Lead role and managing projects involving multiple teams Your area of responsibility includes coordinating the team's work, prioritizing tasks, and supporting effective interaction with other teams. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of features: from design to final launch and subsequent development.

We expect you to

• Have experience managing a team
• Have participated in architecting high-load systems
• Can write quality code in any modern programming language
• Have a grasp of classical algorithms and data structures
• Are familiar with relational and non-relational databases
• Can motivate and develop colleagues, establish work processes
• Possess strong communication skills: can negotiate, justify decisions, present ideas
• Prefer a balance between technical and product tasks
• Have experience interviewing and hiring developers
