An IT company Razdolie is looking for a Chief Financial Officer.
Razdolie is one of the leading 1C partners with the status of "ERP Center" and a certified 1C partner within the "1C:Consulting" project. The company employs 183 people, with an annual turnover exceeding 1 billion rubles.
Key Tasks:
Management Accounting and Treasury:
- Preparation of a weekly treasury report (Cash Flow) by projects and business areas
- Control of accounts receivable (AR) from customers: screening overdue payments, motivating managers to pay by milestones
- Management of credit portfolio and liquidity (cash conversion)
Control of Project Profitability:
- Implementation of itemized cost control for projects (payroll of project team, business trips, third-party subcontractors, etc.)
- Calculation of actual profitability for each completed project vs. planned (variance analysis)
- Formation of reserves for doubtful debts and work in progress (WIP)
Tax and Legal Support:
- Tax optimization (VAT on software sales, VAT exemption under Art. 149 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, application of simplified/general tax regimes, interaction with the Federal Tax Service on deductions)
- Control of contract work from a financial risk perspective (advances, security deposits, penalties)
- Interaction with banks (account opening, guarantees, tranches)
Budgeting and Strategy:
- Development of the annual budget (P&L) by cost centers
- Cash-Flow forecasting for 3 and 6 months for planning investments and payroll projects
- Preparation of reports for shareholders / investors (management balance sheet)
Team and Accounting Policy:
- Management of the accounting department (accounting, payroll, HR accounting) and the finance department
- Implementation and control of period closing regulations (monthly)
Candidate Expectations:
- Experience: from 5 years in senior financial positions, mandatory experience in IT, Telecom, or System Integrator (knowledge of project economics)
- Education: higher economic/financial degree (MBA is welcome). A professional accountant's diploma or ACCA/CIPA certificate is a plus
- Taxes: experience with VAT
- Tools: advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables), experience implementing BI systems (Power BI / Tableau) for dashboards is mandatory
- Proactivity: not just "numbers in a table", but suggestions on how to increase project profit (Up-sell, overhead reduction)
- Negotiation skills: firmness in communicating with customers regarding payments + diplomacy in communicating with shareholders
- Anti-crisis thinking: ability to make quick decisions during cash flow gaps
- Attention to detail
