We are looking for a Java developer for the infrastructure services team. This is a role for an engineer who is interested not only in writing code but also in owning a service end-to-end: understanding the task, gathering context, proposing a solution, deploying it to production, and being responsible for how the service evolves.

Yandex has many financial systems: the accounting system, payment and banking gateways, billing, tariffing, document management. The accounting system is one of the largest. Many processes, integrations, and teams are tied to it.

We are looking for a Java developer for the infrastructure services team. This is a role for an engineer who is interested not only in writing code but also in owning a service end-to-end: understanding the task, gathering context, proposing a solution, deploying it to production, and being responsible for how the service evolves.

To be upfront: 'just writing code according to ready-made tasks' is not enough for us. You need to communicate with related teams, independently drive tasks, make decisions about the service, and see their consequences in production.
