Junior QA at an independent mobile development studio. You will need to test casual Merge games, find bugs, and verify new mechanics. Experience is not required, students are considered.
Tasks:
- Play test versions of the game and find errors
- Verify new game mechanics and changes before release
- Try to "break" mechanics with non-standard actions and check non-obvious scenarios
- Reproduce found bugs and identify the conditions for their occurrence
- Describe bugs in a way that the developer can reproduce the problem; take screenshots and record videos of errors
- After fixing, check if the error has disappeared and if the fix has affected adjacent scenarios
- Look at the game through the eyes of a regular player and report any oddities or inconveniences
Requirements:
- Attentiveness, curiosity, and proactivity
- Willingness to independently understand a problem, check different conditions, and repeat scenarios
- PC and Android smartphone (iPhone/iPad optional)
- Experience playing mobile games
- Testing experience is not required — students and candidates without commercial experience are considered
Conditions:
- Full-time employment, remote work format 5/2
- Payment: $500–800 per month, depending on experience and interview results
