PR Manager / Community Manager (Indie Game Promotion)

About the Company:

We are an indie studio Next Genium, a small team of enthusiasts creating games we want to play ourselves. We believe in creativity, flexibility, and direct dialogue with the gaming community.

Our key project that needs your voice is Overmind. It’s a space survival game where players face the challenge of boundless space, uncovering mysteries, gathering resources, and battling threats. The project is currently in active development, and we are entering the stage of its public presentation.

For us, drive and a desire to learn are more important than experience on a resume. We are ready to consider candidates without work experience, but with burning eyes and a readiness to dive into the gaming industry.

What you will be doing:

You will become the voice of Overmind and the architect of its first community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building communications with the gaming audience (VK, Telegram, Discord);
• Preparing and distributing press releases, announcements, and news materials;
• Interacting with gaming media, bloggers, streamers, and communities;
• Creating content for the studio's and projects' social media (posts, stories, reels);
• Monitoring the media landscape and gaming industry trends;
• Analyzing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and preparing reports;
• Collaborating with the development team to create compelling stories about the project.

What we expect from the candidate:

• Understanding of the specifics of indie games and their audience (gaming experience is a plus);
• Basic copywriting and text editing skills (ability to explain complex things simply);
• Experience with social media (personal or professional level);
• Readiness for extensive communication: with bloggers, journalists, and the community;
• Trainability and responsibility. We are ready to teach everything, but our work is built on a clear system.

Important! Work Organization Conditions:

Here, you won't just be "trying yourself in a profession" but becoming a full-fledged team member. Therefore, we have a transparent time tracking system:

• Work is managed through a task tracker;
• Working hours are tracked;
• Daily reports on completed work are required in the group chat.
• This is not an internship to "sit and watch movies," but a full-fledged remote job with clear goals and deadlines.

Cooperation Terms:

• Schedule and Format: Fully remote work. Flexible schedule, main activities during Moscow time business hours.
• Employment Options:
  • Full-time employment: 7.5 hours per day (up to 37.5 hours per week)
  • Part-time employment: 4 hours per day (from 20 hours per week)
• Compensation (transparent growth system): We offer a motivational system where your income grows with your experience in the project.

For full-time employment:

• 1st month (probationary): 50,000 RUB
• 2nd month: 55,000 RUB
• 3rd month: 60,000 RUB
• 4th month: 65,000 RUB
• Further increases considered based on KPI results.

For part-time employment:

• 1st month (probationary): 30,000 RUB

• 2nd month: 32,500 RUB

• 3rd month: 35,000 RUB

• 4th month: 37,500 RUB

• Further increases considered based on KPI results.

• Formalization: We will formalize cooperation in a way convenient for you: via civil law contract with an individual, as a self-employed person, or as an individual entrepreneur (IE).

• Essence of the Work: You will get full access to project materials and the authority to influence Overmind's promotion strategy. You will see the direct results of your work.
