Requirements: Specialized education/certificates in data analysis and machine learning. Data science experience of 2+ years. Python: (PEP 8). Ability to write optimal code in terms of time and memory. Algorithm complexity - debugging and code optimization. Test-driven development. Fluent in OOP. Data handling: SQL at a basic level (join, group by). Experience with relational databases. Experience with PySpark (broadcast join etc., Spark UI). Knowledge of window functions. Ability to identify suboptimal queries. Familiar with basic probability theory and statistics. Familiar with A/B testing concepts and hypothesis testing. Ability to solve simple problems in probability theory, statistics, logic. Knowledge of classic ML methods. Knowledge of the full A/B test cycle. Proficiency in hypothesis testing tools: - multiple hypothesis testing - parametric / non-parametric methods - bootstrap. Study and implementation of advanced ML models: Bayesian models/PGM/VBI, RL, and others. Presentation of analytical research, verified hypotheses, etc. Understanding of core product metrics and their specifics, translating business tasks into DS/DA/DE, decomposing complex business tasks, building product proxy metrics. Stack: Python; SQL; Git; PyTest; Spark 2.2+; Grafana/Airflow. Data visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly/BI tools).
