DevOps Linux / Kubernetes Engineer

We are looking for a good person to join our company – and a DevOps engineer at that :) Our focus is in-house development of mass online services and software, as well as tools for affiliate marketing. We hold leading positions in the software distribution market in the CIS countries.

This vacancy is for an experienced person – a Linux system administrator who is interested in developing into DevOps. Or for a specialist who already positions themselves as a DevOps engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and support of the company's infrastructure: Kubernetes cluster and several dedicated servers (legacy).
• Interaction with developers to resolve incidents and current tasks.
• Migrating applications from the legacy infrastructure to Kubernetes;
• Writing documentation:
  • Local development and deployment of applications;
  • Infrastructure setup from scratch;
  • Incident analysis.
• Initiative in the further development and automation of the infrastructure.

Technologies Used:

• Cloud providers: Kubernetes on Google Cloud, dedicated servers at OVH (legacy), Droplets and Spaces at DigitalOcean.
• Configuration management: Helm, Ansible (legacy).
• Application isolation: Docker containers, a bit of LXC (legacy).
• Logs and monitoring: Prometheus, Loki.
• Visualization: Grafana.
• CI/CD: Jenkins.
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Web application development: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Next.js.
• Kubernetes Ingress: Nginx.

Conditions:

• Salary 200,000 - 250,000 RUB for full-time. Determined by your initial skills.
