MOSCOW OFFICE | YANDEX
Kinopoisk is one of the largest streaming services in Russia. Every day, millions of people watch their favorite movies, TV series, sports broadcasts, and other content on it — in a browser, on their phone, and on TV.
Our teams work on the development and improvement of Kinopoisk's frontend: they develop new features, improve the architecture, and optimize performance. Our goal is to make interacting with the service as convenient as possible on any device and to increase user satisfaction.
We are looking for a team lead for one of Kinopoisk's frontend development teams. If you know how to manage people and projects, are interested in creating complex high-performance applications, and influencing how millions of users interact with the service, we are waiting for you on the team.
Team Management You will work with people to achieve outstanding results: distribute and delegate tasks, help subordinates develop, set goals, and motivate employees to achieve them. You will also be responsible for hiring new employees, monitoring work processes, improving them, and increasing team efficiency.
Project Implementation You will be responsible for the implementation of projects within the team: together with managers and other teams, you will find the best ways to add new product functionality, estimate tasks, plan work, break it down into parts, and develop architecture and technical solutions.
Technical Product Development You will shape and implement the technological strategy for the platform's development. You need to monitor quality, speed up application performance, and introduce new approaches, tools, and solutions. Our goal is to provide users with the best experience using Kinopoisk on any device, as well as a high level of support and launch of product projects.
