Ptolemay is a full-cycle outsourcing IT company for the development of mobile and web applications for businesses and startups. We are looking for a Senior NLP/LLM Engineer for an outstaff project in the banking sector.

Tasks: • Develop and fine-tune NLP/LLM models: embeddings, generation, RAG approaches. • Research new architectures, conduct experiments, and perform A/B tests. • Design and develop services based on language models: assistants, intelligent search, document and code generation. • Optimize inference and implement models into production together with ML and backend teams. • Work with data: preprocessing, vectorization, organizational storage of knowledge bases.

Mandatory Requirements: • 3+ years of commercial experience in NLP/LLM. • Deep understanding of mathematics: ML, statistics, probability theory. • Python + DS stack: pandas/polars, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn. • Practical experience with PyTorch, Transformers, sentence-transformers, LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex. • Experience working with Qwen, DeepSeek, Llama, Mistral models; SFT, LoRA, QLoRA, prompt-tuning. • Skills in working with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD. • Ability to configure and optimize RAG pipelines. Will be a plus: • Experience in fintech or corporate ecosystems. • Experience with Hadoop (Hive, PySpark), Greenplum, PostgreSQL. • Understanding of LLM integration into business processes. • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
