Tech Lead NLP / LLM at Rosselkhozbank (RSCHB) 🌾🤖

Salary: up to 420,000 RUB net. Citizenship/Location: Russian Federation. Format: Remote. We are looking for a strong Technical Lead with deep expertise in Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models to join the NLP team at Rosselkhozbank. You will lead a team of engineers and researchers, define the architectural direction and tech stack for the bank's AI solutions, and manage key projects: from creating smart LLM assistants to advanced conversational agents and intelligent search systems.

🚀 Responsibilities: • Team Leadership: Manage NLP engineers and researchers (planning, task prioritization, code reviews, quality control of architectural solutions). • Architecture and Stack: Define the technological stack for the LLM/NLP domain (Fine-tuning, LoRA, RAG, Prompt Engineering, LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases). • Key Project Management: Develop LLM assistants, intelligent knowledge base search systems, document generation, and semantic analysis. • Business Alignment: Interact with clients and related IT teams, translate business requirements into technical language, decompose tasks. • Expertise Development: Mentoring, implementing Best Practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.

🎯 Our Expectations: • 5+ years of commercial experience in NLP/LLM, with at least 3 years in a Technical Lead role. • Deep understanding of ML algorithms, LLM architecture, and retrieval-based systems (Transformers, Attention, RAG, SFT, LoRA/Adapters). • Proficient in Python and the relevant tech stack: PyTorch, HuggingFace, sentence-transformers, LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex, FastAPI. • Practical experience in optimizing inference and integrating modern models (Qwen, DeepSeek, Llama, Mistral). • Understanding of AI service scaling principles, caching, and distributed inference. • Excellent business interaction skills and experience managing a product team.

🌟 Will be a plus: • Experience building production-ready RAG systems based on PostgreSQL / ClickHouse / OpenSearch + vector engines. • Experience in seamless integration of LLMs with corporate banking systems and BI platforms. • Knowledge of LLM monitoring tools (latency, quality, cost metrics).
