Senior Product Owner

As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead the end-to-end development of the Travel vertical within the QIC App, covering hotels, flights, tours, and experiences booking flows. You will shape the product vision, positioning, and long-term strategy, starting with the Qatar market and expanding across the MENA region.

About the position

As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead the end-to-end development of the Travel vertical within the QIC App, covering hotels, flights, tours, and experiences booking flows. You will shape the product vision, positioning, and long-term strategy, starting with the Qatar market and expanding across the MENA region.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of the travel stream, including monetisation model, unit economics and scalable growth strategy
• Define go-to-market approach, positioning, pricing and segmentation for new travel products
• Build strategic partnerships with aggregators, booking providers and experience partners
• Lead product discovery through customer research, JTBD framework and market validation
• Define and prioritize roadmap aligned with ecosystem strategy
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery from discovery to launch
• Establish experimentation, analytics and performance metrics to optimise engagement and retention
• Drive growth through ecosystem integrations including loyalty, insurance embedding, BNPL and wallet

Requirements

• Over 5 years in Product Management / Product Ownership
• Proven experience launching a B2C mobile product from 0 → first release
• Strong experience in marketplace / travel / booking / fintech / superapp environments
• Hands-on experience with monetization models (commission-based, dynamic pricing, bundling)
• Strong analytical mindset (unit economics, funnel analysis, cohort analysis)
• Experience building and executing GTM strategy
• Deep understanding of customer-centric product development (CustDev, JTBD, experimentation)
• Experience working with performance marketing
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity, fast-scaling environment
• Spoken English level B2 or higher

Nice-to-have: experience in MENA markets / with ecosystem or superapp models / with travel aggregators or booking APIs
