About the position
As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead the end-to-end development of the Travel vertical within the QIC App, covering hotels, flights, tours, and experiences booking flows. You will shape the product vision, positioning, and long-term strategy, starting with the Qatar market and expanding across the MENA region.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of the travel stream, including monetisation model, unit economics and scalable growth strategy
- Define go-to-market approach, positioning, pricing and segmentation for new travel products
- Build strategic partnerships with aggregators, booking providers and experience partners
- Lead product discovery through customer research, JTBD framework and market validation
- Define and prioritize roadmap aligned with ecosystem strategy
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery from discovery to launch
- Establish experimentation, analytics and performance metrics to optimise engagement and retention
- Drive growth through ecosystem integrations including loyalty, insurance embedding, BNPL and wallet
Requirements
- Over 5 years in Product Management / Product Ownership
- Proven experience launching a B2C mobile product from 0 → first release
- Strong experience in marketplace / travel / booking / fintech / superapp environments
- Hands-on experience with monetization models (commission-based, dynamic pricing, bundling)
- Strong analytical mindset (unit economics, funnel analysis, cohort analysis)
- Experience building and executing GTM strategy
- Deep understanding of customer-centric product development (CustDev, JTBD, experimentation)
- Experience working with performance marketing
- Ability to operate in high-ambiguity, fast-scaling environment
- Spoken English level B2 or higher
Nice-to-have: experience in MENA markets / with ecosystem or superapp models / with travel aggregators or booking APIs
