We need a self-sufficient specialist who can not only model individual assets but also understands the environment as part of the game scene: context, composition, scale, object functionality, and how it all works together. What you will do: • Create and develop game environments — architecture, interiors, tech, props • Model game-ready assets and prepare them for Unreal Engine • UV unwrapping and working with materials • Assemble and populate scenes in UE5 • Work within the existing artistic and technical pipeline of the project • Independently develop missing environmental details and find suitable references • Collaborate with Level Design, concept artists, and other team members Requirements: • Middle+ level and solid experience with game 3D environments • Confident modeling of architecture, interiors, and props • Good understanding of scale, composition, and visual context of the environment • Ability to independently make artistic and technical decisions when the task is not fully defined • Understanding of real-time requirements and specifics of creating game-ready assets • Experience with Unreal Engine • Ability to work with the existing pipeline and adapt to the project's style • Good in-game visual awareness and understanding of how game environments are structured Big plus: • Experience in independently developing small environmental sections from idea to finished scene • Working with decals, trim sheets, vertex paint, and other UE5 tools • Understanding of optimization and performance • Good understanding of lighting in Unreal Engine • Experience with machinery, mechanical objects, and complex props • Basic understanding of Level Design and how the environment interacts with game logic and player movement Important note: We are less interested in seeing a portfolio of the most technically complex works and more interested in understanding the specialist's level of independence and thinking. The portfolio should demonstrate confident work with game environments. During the interview, we may conduct a short real-time practical task to see how you make decisions, work with a task, and navigate Unreal Engine. Conditions: • Remote work • Full-time • Work on an original multiplayer shooter on UE5
