About the Teams:
- The "My Home" team is Cyan's product direction, which helps users solve one of the most important life tasks: buying and selling real estate. Historically, the team developed a real estate valuation service, and today its main focus is the "Cyan.Deal" product, which helps buyers and sellers find suitable agents and manage transactions more effectively.
- The Search Core & CDP team within the Search & Recommendations horizontal develops two platforms:
listing search — direct and reverse (finding new listings for users' saved searches), through which every search query on Cyan passes
CDP — a platform that collects user insights and provides data for personalization and ML.
Our consumers are product teams, ML and analytics, and through them — all Cyan users. This role is suitable for someone who wants to deeply understand search and data platforms and is ready to take on technically complex tasks — we will help and support you with the team's experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support product backend services;
- Design and implement new product features together with the development team, analysts, and product;
- Work with a microservice architecture and integrations between services;
- Participate in the development of technical solutions, task decomposition, and product architecture development;
- Analyze and optimize the performance of services and databases;
- Your work will be an important part of the journey our product takes from idea to reality.
Requirements
Our future colleague:
- Has 3+ years of experience in commercial Python development, has applied asynchronous frameworks in projects;
- Knows how to write maintainable and testable code;
- Has experience in designing microservice architecture and DB architecture;
- Thinks about business in technical matters;
- Knows how to optimize application and database performance;
- It's great if you also have experience with tools like Kafka, ELK, Sentry, Grafana, SQLAlchemy, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.

Interview Stages:
- General phone call with a recruiter for 30 minutes;
- Technical interview, where we will discuss your experience with Python, development approaches, and tools you usually work with (including experience with AI in development - if you have such experience);
- Final stage with the team lead and HRBP. It is very important for us to hire a person with whom we will share values. We are not willing to compromise here, even with candidates with suitable skills and experience;
