Digital goods marketplace GGSel is looking for a Chief Accountant with experience in small or medium-sized companies and knowledge of all accounting areas.
ggsel is a digital goods marketplace that ranks among the top 10 platforms in the CIS: 10+ million visits per month, growing 5 times in a year. They are not standing still - ambitiously changing the market by making digital trade fair, convenient, and international. The team is growing with the company, and they need a new employee to take charge of accounting and tax accounting for the group companies. They need not just an executor, but a professional who understands the difference between "filing reports with the tax authorities" and "maintaining high-quality management and accounting records".
What you will be doing:
- Maintaining the full spectrum of accounting and tax accounting for 1-2 small Russian companies, from forming primary documents to closing the month;
- Independently preparing and submitting all necessary reports to the Federal Tax Service (FNS) and other regulatory bodies;
- Interacting with tax authorities, responding to inquiries, and defending the company's interests;
- Participating in the formation of management reports, understanding the internal business requirements, not just government regulations;
- Assisting the manager with current operational tasks and projects;
- In the future, participating in accounting for international legal entities and more complex financial tasks within the department and the company.
Requirements:
- Experience: from 5-6 years in accounting, with at least 3 years of continuous work in one place (they value stability and depth of immersion);
- Solid knowledge of the full accounting cycle and Russian tax legislation, experience in independently managing a company and submitting reports;
- Higher professional accounting or economics education;
- English language: basic or intermediate level (reading professional literature, understanding general terms). This is important for future growth and working with international structures;
- Team player: you are not an individualist, you know how to work collaboratively, accept subordination, and can learn from your manager;
- Desire to develop and learn: you understand that there is always room for growth, and your eyes light up with new tasks.
