Go Developer for the Tours Team

Title: Go Developer for the Tours Team Company: Tutu Location: Moscow Experience: 3 to 6 years

Hi! We are the Tutu team. For over 20 years, we have been inspiring new trips, helping to easily plan travel, and book everything you need – from tickets to hotels.

We are currently looking for a Go Developer for the Tours team. You will need to develop SEO pages for tours, create new pages and a section for last-minute tours, handle caching, improve the quality of offer selection, and implement a low-price calendar.

Your responsibilities will include

— Developing backend services for Tours in Go

— Developing SEO pages and services that handle search traffic

— Creating new pages and a last-minute tours section

— Handling caching to make pages and search results load faster

— Improving the quality of offer selection in tours

— Implementing a low-price calendar

— Developing and supporting the infrastructure for A/B experiments on search results

— Taking over support and further developing our tour search results

— Participating in discussions about architecture, planning, and development of new product features

— Ensuring the quality of your code: writing unit tests and participating in code reviews

— Responding to incidents and requests from users and partners, helping to find and solve technical problems

— Collaborating with developers from neighboring Tutu teams and partners

We expect you to have

— 3+ years of experience developing in Go

— Ability to design solutions in a microservices architecture

— Experience with gRPC/protobuf, REST/OpenAPI

— Experience with relational databases and caching

— Experience developing pages and services that handle search traffic

— Experience participating in backend A/B experiments: splitting traffic, collecting and transmitting metrics

— Ability to write unit tests

— Ability to independently design solutions, propose improvements, and negotiate with neighboring teams

Will be a plus

— Experience with PHP at the level of minor modifications in a monolith

— Experience with Kafka

— Experience migrating features from a monolith to separate services

— Experience taking over support for someone else's service

— Mentoring experience

— Experience in travel or e-commerce

About the team and workflow

The team consists of 4 people: 2 frontend developers, an SEO specialist, and a product owner.

The backend role in this position will be a significant area of responsibility: you will not only write code but also help the team make technical decisions, develop services, and maintain product stability.

We work according to Scrum with two-week sprints.

Work schedule

We work 5/2.
