Yandex PropTech (Domiland) is a digital platform that makes life in residential complexes smart and convenient. We unite the infrastructure of new buildings, property management companies, and residents into a single, tech-enabled ecosystem: from mobile apps and CRM to IoT services and digital access passes.

We are looking for an SRE engineer to join our team, who will be responsible for ensuring the stability, fault tolerance, and predictability of the platform. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, automating processes and implementing best practices for reliability.

What tasks await you

Optimizing architecture and processes You will be improving the architecture, proposing new solutions, studying the development and operational processes of web services, mobile apps, and IoT, configuring automation, and enhancing system performance.

Infrastructure and monitoring You will participate in the development and evolution of service infrastructure, analyze incidents and help in their rapid resolution, configure monitoring and alerting, optimize, and maintain the platform.

Platform scaling You will need to participate in scaling the platform as the number of users and integrations grows, and ensure the resilience of the architecture and processes when handling large volumes of data.

We expect that you

• Have worked with UNIX systems (primarily GNU/Linux) for more than five years
• Understand network protocols and the basics of routing
• Know how to build CI/CD — from writing code to deploying to production
• Understand the differences between SQL and NoSQL databases
• Actively use virtualization and containerization
• Automate routine tasks using Python or another general-purpose language

It will be a plus if you

• Have experience designing and operating 24/7/365 systems
• Have worked with Yandex Cloud
• Have applied the Infrastructure as Code approach
• Know how to work with open-source tools (Terraform, SaltStack, Ansible, GitLab CI, OpenSearch, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Nginx)
