Infrastructure and Business Application Operations Engineer

The Business Application Operations team is looking for an engineer to deploy and support infrastructure, both cloud (AWS, Yandex Cloud) and Bare Metal, for internal corporate financial and accounting systems (1C, Optimacros, custom solutions).

What tasks await you

Deploying infrastructure based on Bare Metal and LXC You will be responsible for commissioning servers in Yandex data centers, configuring Linux and LXC-based containerization, and installing corporate accounting systems. We practice the Infrastructure as Code approach using Terraform and Ansible.

Operating cloud infrastructure You will support and develop internal services deployed in Yandex Cloud and Amazon Web Services.

Ensuring service availability You will need to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of ERP, financial, and tax systems.

Configuring monitoring You will develop and maintain monitoring systems for service subsystems

We expect you

• Have deep experience in Linux administration
• Have practical skills in managing virtualization/containerization systems at an administrator level
• Have administered cloud infrastructure from any vendor
• Have worked with MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, or other databases
• Understand network protocols and routing at a level sufficient for diagnosing and resolving network incidents
• Know how to work with configuration management systems: Terraform, Ansible, etc.

Will be a plus

• Have administered large 1C installations on Linux or other ERP systems
