Anti-Fraud Analyst (Information Security)

About the Team

Our team ensures the reliability and stability of all Avito products, their technological platform and office infrastructure, and also reduces information security risks.

We are looking for an anti-fraud analyst to join the Security Operation Center team, with experience in cases related to detecting fraudulent schemes and investigating them in a heterogeneous infrastructure.

Also, Avito uses many modern technologies, so here you can gain valuable experience in ensuring their security.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze user behavior on the platform and identify patterns of fraudulent schemes;

• Engage in the search and identification of new fraudulent and other criminal schemes;

• Develop correlation rules to detect fraudulent actions;

• Participate in investigating information security incidents;

• Identify vulnerabilities in rule algorithms / the website / the interface.

We Expect You To:

• Have experience working in anti-fraud detection teams, quality control, or content departments;

• Have experience with Data Query Language (SQL based);

• Have practical experience with cases on preventing fraudulent schemes;

• Have a deep understanding of internal interface structures and be able to quickly analyze internal data to solve tasks;

• Be able to collect and interpret data for decision-making;

• Be able to automate routine tasks using scripting programming languages;

• Love learning, be interested in data and what can be extracted from it.
