Senior Marketing Data Analyst
EMCD is a fintech company in the cryptocurrency sphere, the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are actively developing in the global market and building an ecosystem of crypto services: payment infrastructure, custodial solutions, mining products, and enterprise-level tools for businesses and institutional clients.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Data Analyst for our marketing analytics team. The role focuses on measuring marketing effectiveness across various channels, analyzing user behavior and funnels, and generating practical insights for optimizing marketing strategies. You will work closely with marketing teams, build transparent reporting, automate analytical processes, and help scale a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical reports to evaluate marketing effectiveness across various channels: performance, direct, affiliate, SEO, SMM, brand, PR, and referral programs.
- Analyze user funnels, identify drop-off points, and formulate hypotheses to improve acquisition, conversion, and retention metrics.
- Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests, build attribution and incrementality models, including calculating marginal ROAS.
- Create dashboards and alerting systems to monitor key marketing metrics and promptly identify deviations.
- Support marketing teams with analytics that directly impact operational and strategic decisions.
- Develop and support unit economics models for acquisition, retention, upsell, and cross-sell.
- Support and develop marketing data infrastructure and integrations (AppsFlyer, Google Analytics, GTM, Segment, etc.).
- Participate in the implementation of advanced analytics: scoring models, predictive analytics, and other use cases as needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an analyst, with at least 2 years in marketing analytics.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.
- Confident command of Python for analytics, automation, and data processing.
- Practical experience in cross-channel analytics (B2C or B2B), including cohort analysis and attribution.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Superset, or similar).
- Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and building analytical models.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to structure complex calculations and processes.
- Experience in conducting and analyzing A/B tests and marketing experiments.
- Experience with CDP, Airflow, dbt, or ML models will be an advantage.
- Understanding of marketing measurement methods (web and mobile), including surveys, MMM, GDPR and LAT limitations is a plus.
