Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience with SAP BW, including at least 2 years in an architect role;
- Practical experience in implementing and developing SAP BW solutions in retail;
- Skills in integrating SAP BW with SAP ERP and other data source systems;
- Proficiency in data models of key SAP ERP modules and standard SAP BW business content;
- Experience managing a team of consultants: setting tasks, controlling deadlines and quality;
- Practice of interacting with clients, from gathering requirements to presenting project solutions;
- Expertise in optimizing the performance of SAP BW/4HANA and the HANA platform;
- Understanding of retail industry and economic terminology;
- Ability to estimate effort and form work plans for SAP BW projects;
- Developed communication and work process organization skills;
- Confirmed experience in participating in 5+ full-cycle SAP BW projects;
- Experience in designing complex data models and loading mechanisms in SAP BW/4HANA and HANA;
- Confident use of ABAP tools: BAdI, User Exits, Routines, AMDP, developing extractors;
- Experience in defending architectural and design solutions, conducting performance testing, and organizing acceptance testing;
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting support to the client for 3 months after the solution goes live;
- Provide warranty service for 1 year, fix critical errors not caused by the client;
- Analyze and clarify client requirements, estimate scope and implement enhancements within change requests and new functional tasks;
- Modernize current and create new reporting solutions: BEx queries, workbooks, and distribution mechanisms;
- Create and adapt calculation models: data transformations, Calculation Views, Composite Providers, ABAP programs;
- Implement functionality in a full cycle: from extracting data from external systems to generating the final report or external export;
- Coordinate testing and acceptance testing with client representatives;
- Prepare a package of documentation: design solutions, functional specifications, test protocols, user manuals, and materials for handover to support;
Conditions:
- Outstaff project for a retail company;
- The project is characterized by a significant scale: database size is about 25 TB, daily load volume is 70-120 million rows, the system serves about 7,000 users (with a steady growth trend), approximately 400 reports are in active use;
- The project specifics are due to the industry focus (retail): highly specialized functional blocks are implemented, complex data models are used, and mechanisms for processing large volumes of information have been developed;
