Strategic development, architectural design, and optimization of the corporate data warehouse (DWH) based on SAP BW/4HANA. 🧩 About the Role: this is a key position for a recognized expert. We are looking for an architect who not only deeply understands the "insides" of SAP BW/4HANA and HANA but also knows how to build complex data models for retail specifics, optimize performance at the platform level, lead a team, and confidently defend their solutions to the client. 🚀 Key Tasks: — Architectural design of complex data models and loading mechanisms in SAP BW/4HANA and HANA. — Expertise and performance optimization of SAP BW/4HANA and the HANA platform. — Implementation of functionality in a full cycle: from effort estimation and requirements gathering to the formation of the final report/extract. — Creation and adaptation of calculation models: Calculation Views, composite providers, complex ABAP programs. — Leading a team of consultants: assigning tasks, monitoring deadlines, quality, and conducting code/design reviews. — Interaction with the client: from gathering requirements to presenting and defending project solutions. — Organizing load testing and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). — Developing standard technical documentation. — Consulting support (3 months after launch) and warranty service (1 year). 🎯 Mandatory Requirements (Hard Skills): Experience and Status (CRITICAL!): — At least 7 years of experience with SAP BW, including 2+ years specifically in an architect role. — Proven experience in participating in 5+ full-cycle SAP BW projects. — Practical experience in implementing and developing SAP BW solutions specifically in retail. Technical Expertise (CRITICAL!): — Deep understanding of SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA architecture. — Proficiency in data models of key SAP ERP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO) and standard SAP BW business content. — Confident use of ABAP tools: BAdI, User Exits, Routines, AMDP, extractor development. — Skills in integrating SAP BW with SAP ERP and other data source systems. Architecture and Management: — Ability to estimate efforts, develop work plans, and defend architectural solutions. — Understanding of retail industry and economic terminology. 🤝 Soft Skills Requirements: — Developed communication, workflow organization, and client expectation management skills. — Leadership qualities: experience in leading a team of consultants, mentoring. — Ability to defend one's point of view convincingly in architectural committees. 💡 Will be a significant plus: — Experience migrating legacy SAP BW to BW/4HANA. — Knowledge of modern BI visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud) for competent design of data marts.
