Testing Engineer for the Disk Interfaces Team (TS)

Disk is a cloud service for storing photos, videos, documents, and other files, and for sharing them. We are actively growing and working every day to improve the service. We have a high product load and many interesting technical tasks.

We are looking for a proactive and talented specialist. You will not only test Disk services but also influence their quality and testing processes alongside skilled developers and experienced managers.

What tasks await you

Testing You will conduct functional testing of Disk interfaces, find and prioritize defects, and work on improving testing processes.

Project Management You will manage product projects from start to finish, work on their quality, and discuss the usability of new functionality, actively influencing it.

Documentation You will develop and maintain test documentation: create test cases, checklists, and project testing documentation.

Product Quality Control You will collect and analyze metrics affecting the team and product, monitor and improve service quality, and reproduce user complaints. It is necessary to automate manual testing scenarios in the JS/TS stack (component and integration tests), PlayWright or Selenium, and also develop approaches to automated testing.

We expect that you

• Understand the principles of client-server applications and architecture
• Understand development and testing processes
• Have tested web applications
• Know testing theory and master test design techniques
• Have worked with test documentation: test cases, checklists
• Have programming skills
• Have automated test scenarios in the JS/TS stack, Playwright or Selenium
• Know HTML and CSS at a basic level
• Have worked with sniffers like Charles, Fiddler
• Have worked with Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno

Will be a plus

• Have worked with Allure, Grafana, Docker
• Have tested on-premises products
• Have written automated tests for the backend
• Have built and optimized testing processes
• Know SQL at the level of simple queries
• Have worked with Git or any other version control systems
