Promotion of the "Workouts" (Body Workout) app
We develop digital products that help people take care of their physical and emotional well-being. Martspec has been on the market for 6 years, we grow organically, fundamentally do not borrow money and are not dependent on investors. This allows us to make the product the way we see it — honest, useful, and without corporate hustle. Now we are looking for a passionate trainee marketer (or SMM specialist) for the organic promotion of our new iOS app "Workouts" (Body Workout) on social media. We offer maximum freedom: you can test your boldest hypotheses. It's important to be upfront: since we are developing exclusively with our own funds, we do not offer a starting salary.
Work on a real launch, not just for show: This is not a training project. You will promote a real app that has just hit the market. You will be able to build an organic growth strategy from scratch and add this powerful case (promoted a newly released app) to your resume.
Freedom of action and creativity: We won't be hovering over you with micromanagement. You will have carte blanche to test formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, posts), find your target audience, and implement your ideas.
Meaning and impact: You will promote a product that genuinely helps people train more effectively. Your content will directly influence user base growth.
A calm environment without burnout: We don't have investors demanding impossible metrics by the end of the month. We value a thoughtful approach, creativity, stability, and analysis of results.
Experience with gym workouts (Critical❗): You actively engage in gym workouts, fitness, strength training, or cardio. You understand the pain points of our audience, know sports slang, and can sense what content will resonate with those who actually train, and what will seem fake.
Initiative and a sharp mind: Passive waiting for step-by-step instructions won't work here. We expect you to propose ideas, generate content, test it, and draw conclusions.
Sense of trends and understanding of social media: You understand how algorithms and virality work. You know the difference between a good hook and a boring intro, and you can adapt content for different platforms.
Courage to experiment: Ability to quickly test different hypotheses. If a video or post didn't work, it's not a failure, but valuable data for course correction.
Responsibility: Willingness to regularly release content, complete tasks, and honestly communicate if something is not going as planned.
Openness to feedback: Ability to perceive comments on creative work as a growth opportunity, not criticism.
⚠️ Important: This is a starting position (unpaid practice for 1-3 months). The role is focused on gaining practical experience in launching a product and creating a real case study for your portfolio. There is absolutely no guarantee that it will continue after the initial period or become a paid position. We also do not issue any certificates or documents. We also do not require any documents, passports, etc. from you.
Fully remote and flexible: No strict hours, you can generate ideas and create content at any convenient time (even between sets during your own workout). The result is important, not the "online" status.
Asynchronous communication: Convenient chats, calls only when necessary, usually once every 1-2 weeks. Most of the team is in the east, about a 6-hour difference from Moscow.
Life is life: If you need to step away for a few days, that's absolutely fine. The main thing is to inform the team in advance.
We want to see your creativity, understanding of the sports audience, and how you think. The task consists of two parts.
Part 1. Practical: Ideas for promotion Download our app "Workouts" (Body Workout) from the Apple App Store. Study its functionality and positioning. Propose 3 ideas for short videos (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) that will organically attract our target audience and motivate them to download the app. For one idea (the strongest, in your opinion), write a brief script: visual elements, on-screen text, hook, sound/music, call to action (CTA).
Part 2. Reasoning and communication You've edited and posted a great, stylish video reviewing an app feature. 24 hours have passed, and the video has only 15 views and 0 reactions. Describe your specific steps: how will you analyze this situation? Write the exact text of the message you will send to the team's work chat to discuss this result.
We do not look at formal age, diplomas, or "gaps" in your resume. Only applications with a completed test task will be considered. In your cover letter, please indicate:
Response to Part 1 (your 3 ideas and a detailed script for one of them).
Response to Part 2 (analysis of the situation and the message for the chat).
Your sports context: Write 2-3 sentences about your training experience (how long you've been training, what types of activities).
Your goals: Briefly (in 2-3 sentences) state what exactly you want to learn during this 1-3 month internship.
