Yandex Market's team is looking for an automation service engineer. We provide a full fulfillment cycle for partners: warehouse storage, order receiving, picking and packing, payment collection, delivery, and returns handling. You will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on automated conveyor equipment.

What tasks await you

Ensuring equipment technical availability You will perform timely repairs and regular maintenance of automated conveyor equipment. You will need to analyze and eliminate the causes of breakdowns, monitor and maintain equipment operation, and participate in scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM). Quick response to operational failures is required, as well as preparing reports on completed work, tracking spare parts inventory, and participating in equipment upgrades.

Participation in the incident process In the event of complex technical failures, you will participate in the prompt restoration of equipment operability, engage colleagues from related departments, and maintain up-to-date information on the progress of incident resolution. You need to analyze incidents and propose measures to prevent them.

Cross-functional collaboration You will interact with colleagues from related departments as part of your work tasks. You will also need to organize and plan equipment shutdowns for repairs and engage PLC engineers and developers for upgrades. For this, you must be able to clearly articulate the need for such work.

We expect you

• Have a higher technical or specialized secondary education
• Have worked as a service engineer for over two years
• Have experience with electromechanical equipment (experience with automated conveyor or sorting equipment is desirable)
• Adhere to safety norms and requirements
• Can read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
• Are a confident PC user
• Can quickly identify and troubleshoot issues, work in a team, and are not afraid of stressful situations
• Have experience with equipment from Vanderlande, Knapp, Shaefer, VanRiet (MHS), Interroll, TGW, SEW frequency converters, and SICK and Datalogic scanners

Will be a plus

• Know the principles of PLC operation
