Data Center Duty Engineer

A Duty Engineer is a specialist who works with the mechanical, electrical, server, and network equipment of a data center (DC): maintains equipment operability, installs, configures, and commissions it. Your mentors in the work will be experienced engineers.

What tasks await you

Ensuring stable operation of DC equipment You will be responsible for monitoring equipment status through the monitoring system, resolving the causes of equipment failures or abnormal operations in the DC on your own and with the help of third-party organizations, interacting with other services and contractors. You will replace server equipment components, perform scheduled maintenance of DC engineering systems, and participate in the installation and commissioning of DC technological equipment.

We expect that you

• Have a degree in a technical field, preferably in electrical engineering, automation, or mechanics
• Possess basic technical knowledge
• Have a basic understanding of computer hardware

Will be a plus

• Have worked in technical positions (electrical and low-voltage systems, automation systems), including hands-on work
• Have performed the functions of a work producer in electrical installations
• Have worked in electrical grid companies, at thermal power plants (TPPs), substations, factories, or plants
