IT Specialist for Data Center Incident Team

Yandex is looking for a specialist to join the incident team of one of the country's largest data centers. You will work with server and network equipment: checking specifications, diagnosing faults, installing and configuring equipment.

Tasks awaiting you

Resolving server hardware faults You will quickly and independently find faults in the server hardware of our data centers and resolve them, as well as create instructions that will help avoid similar problems in the future.

We expect you to

• Have experience with Unix systems at an administrator level
• Have a good understanding of PC architecture, working principles, and technical specifications of components
• Are skilled at working with documentation
• Are ready to learn, including self-study, and strive for professional and career growth
• Are communicative and proactive
• Have a sense of humor

Will be a plus

• Have experience with testing, repairing, assembling, or configuring servers
• Have worked with network equipment
• Know TCP/IP networking technologies

Working conditions

• Work schedule 2/2 on-site at our data center (during training and adaptation period — schedule 5/2)
