Intern for the IT team at a Yandex data center (DC)

We are looking for an intern to join the IT team at a data center. The internship involves a fixed-term employment contract for 3 months with the prospect of further permanent employment.

What tasks await you

Maintenance of server and network equipment Together with system administrators and network engineers, you will be checking equipment specifications, conducting fault diagnostics, installing, and configuring equipment.

We expect that you

• Are ready to work a 5/2 schedule and dedicate 40 hours per week to the internship
• Are well-versed in PC architecture, principles of operation, and technical specifications of components
• Are able to work with documentation, ready to learn, want to grow professionally, are proactive and communicative

Will be a plus

• Have experience in testing, repairing, assembling, or configuring servers; have worked with server or network equipment
• Have a basic level of technical English — for example, can translate text using a dictionary or online translator
• Are familiar with TCP/IP networking technologies, possess programming skills in scripting languages

Working conditions

• 5/2 work schedule
• Workplace — a data center in Sasovo (Ryazan Oblast) or Vladimir
• Fixed-term employment contract for 3 months with the prospect of transitioning to permanent employment based on internship results
• Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation
