Analyst (Intern) in the Cross-Channel Analytics Team
Our team deals with cross-channel analytics for an advertising portal. We evaluate results comprehensively: we analyze not only advertising revenue but also related product metrics – search queries, impressions, clicks in different environments (topic, advertiser industry, device type). We compare plans with actuals, study how metrics have changed year-on-year, and determine which factors influenced these changes. We prepare data and insights that help management communicate with product and advertising teams. We don't just crunch numbers, we look for reasons for successes and failures, identify problem areas and growth points so that top management has a complete picture of what's happening.
During our work, we have accumulated a lot of materials and knowledge stored in different systems. To work with this data better and answer questions about revenue dynamics in different products faster, we want to systematize them.
Revenue Knowledge Base You will need to process accumulated historical materials and reports, organize them into cards, and create a structured knowledge library. This will allow us to quickly find information about what happened with revenue in different products at any period of time.
Data Labeling Currently, we ask many questions to a neural network, but due to unstructured data, it can mix up information and give inaccurate answers. You will need to label materials manually or with automation to get more relevant and correct answers from systems in the future.
