Systems Analyst for Yandex 360

Yandex 360 is a digital space that helps organize work processes. It includes Mail, Disk, Calendar, Telemost, Messenger, and other services. All these products allow you to work from anywhere and simplify the lives of millions of people.

We are looking for a systems analyst who is ready not just to gather requirements, but to lead projects from request to implementation: filter product requirements, make them clear, ensure architecture design and estimation, and coordinate implementation.

What tasks await you

Analysis and requirements development You will need to validate product requirements (asking "Why?" and "What if?.." questions), communicate with a large number of stakeholders (PO, PM, designers, architects, development team, etc.), define the subject area and scope of requirements, and detail functional and non-functional requirements. Together with architects and developers, you will design, estimate, and implement these requirements, as well as maintain documentation at all stages. In requirement specifications, you will use notations and approaches such as UML, ER, C4, BPMN, etc.

Interaction with the development team and other departments It is important to organize the approval of solutions and artifacts, as well as facilitate meetings for effective decision-making, and answer questions from the project team at all stages.

We expect you to

• Have worked as a systems analyst for five years or more
• Can clearly, structuredly, and consistently formulate user, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Can decompose and estimate large projects
• Have documented architecture and integration scenarios
• Are technically literate: understand architectural patterns and main integration methods (contract-oriented APIs, event-driven approaches, etc.), capable of speaking with developers and architects in technical language
• Know BPMN, UML, ERD, and are proficient with tools like Draw.io, PlantUML, etc.
• Have accompanied projects to implementation: aligned with stakeholders, managed expectations, controlled the quality of the result
• Possess strong communication skills, can facilitate meetings and conduct negotiations between departments
