IT company Verme is looking for a Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Formation of the financial strategy of the group of companies, including long-term models and optimization of the cost structure;
- Creation and development of a system of financial policy, regulations, and internal control;
- Maintaining and consolidating P&L for the group of companies and individual legal entities;
- Development, defense, and execution of financial plans for business areas (IT product, consulting, support);
- Formation and updating of unit economics for products and projects (B2B and B2C);
- Forecasting key financial indicators: quarterly/annually, as well as long-term growth models;
- Control and analysis of the execution of the income and expense budget and cash flow budget; preparation of corrective measures;
- Organization and control of accounting under RAS (Russian Accounting Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards);
- Formation of management and financial reporting within established deadlines;
- Ensuring transparency of tax planning;
- Preparation and support of external audits, participation in due diligence procedures (analysis of the financial, tax, legal, technical, and management condition of an asset, which helps make an informed investment decision);
- Analysis of financial and operational risks, development of measures to reduce them;
- Assessment of the efficiency of business areas, optimization of the cost structure;
- Participation in investment projects: evaluation, payback calculation, decision support;
- Presentation of financial results to the executive director and owners;
- Interaction with banks, investors, auditors, consultants;
- Participation in strategic company development projects and product initiatives;
- Management of the financial service and accounting department: setting goals, assigning tasks, developing the team.
- Ensuring high quality of team performance: monitoring deadlines, data accuracy, and compliance with regulations;
- Developing employee competencies, implementing best practices in financial management;
- Setting up interaction systems with other departments (IT development, consulting, customer support, sales, HR, marketing, etc.).
Candidate Profile:
- Higher education (finance, economics, management);
- Professional certifications are desirable: ACCA, CPA, CIMA (as a plus);
- Experience as a Chief Financial Officer or Head of Financial Function in companies with revenue from 500 million rubles;
- Experience in Retail, IT development, or consulting sectors is mandatory;
- Experience in a multi-business structure or group of companies is an advantage;
- Deep knowledge of financial modeling, unit economics construction, and management reporting;
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and RAS, experience in preparing reports;
- Proficiency in analytical tools: Excel, BI systems, financial planners;
- Experience in establishing and automating financial processes;
- Strategic thinking, systematic approach, high degree of responsibility;
- Strong management skills, ability to develop a team;
- Willingness to work in a dynamic technological business environment;
- Persuasion skills, ability to defend financial decisions with arguments.
