Platform OFD, an IT company, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities:
Leadership of the Financial Department:
- Management of the financial department, consisting of accounting (6 employees), the finance department (4 employees), and procurement (1 employee)
- Participation in employee recruitment, training, and development, setting goals and monitoring their achievement
- Analysis of the financial department's performance efficiency
Financial Planning:
- Development and defense of business plans, budgets (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet), and adjustments. Preparation of necessary explanations, factor analyses, etc., required for budget defense at the Board of Directors
- Forecasting revenues and expenses by department and business unit
- Participation in the formation and adjustment of the company's strategy based on financial and operational analysis, development of financial models
Management and Financial Analysis:
- Interaction with all departments to analyze key factors of budget performance or non-performance
- Definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business and creation of tools for their daily monitoring
- Conducting financial and operational analysis, preparing conclusions and recommendations for management
- Interaction with shareholder representatives on financial requests
Accounting, Reporting, and Regulatory Requirements:
- Control over the preparation of accounting, tax, IFRS, and management reports
- Preparation and submission of reports to state authorities and company management
- Implementation of new accounting and reporting standards provided by the shareholder, and modification of existing ones
- Control over compliance with approved cost estimates (both Opex and Capex), development of measures for their prevention
- Undergoing quarterly IFRS reporting audits and annual accounting (financial) statement audits
Cash Flow and Risk Management:
- Monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Participation in the development of financial and legal structures for new business areas and optimization of existing ones
- Risk management: assessment of financial risks and development of mitigation measures
- Control over compliance with approved expenditure standards
External Interactions and Partnerships:
- Negotiation with banks, credit institutions, auditors, and other financial institutions
- Representation of the company's interests in financial and regulatory matters when interacting with external partners
Automation and Billing:
- Automation of operational processes within the company
- Development of the company's accounting systems to ensure prompt reporting and high data accuracy
- Development of requirements for the billing system from a financial perspective
- Control over the absence of discrepancies in accounting systems and billing
Candidate Expectations:
- Higher economic education
- At least 6 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer
- Experience in independent preparation of CF, P&L, BS statements
- Experience working in Banks/Subsidiaries of Banks/Fintech/IT companies
- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, budgeting, cost control principles, and IFRS standards
- Developed communication skills
- Strong management competencies
- Ability to initiate and implement new operational approaches
- Ability to "roll up sleeves" and delve into processes, not just manage a team
