Sandoz, an international pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Head of Tax Department.

Sandoz's portfolio includes about 100 European-quality drugs available in 95% of Russian pharmacies. They are used to combat various diseases, from common colds to cancer. The company holds a leading position in physician prescriptions and pharmacist recommendations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all tax tasks (in the areas of corporate, direct, and indirect taxes, as well as strategic tax tasks)
• Ensuring compliance with Russian tax legislation and company tax procedures
• Supporting and advising company functional departments on tax matters
• Managing a team with a focus on developing and implementing effective tax processes and strategies
• Leading cross-functional projects as a tax expert
• Assisting with on-site and desk tax audits of the company, preparing and providing information and documents upon requests from tax authorities, interacting with tax authorities on document submission and other matters
• Planning, analyzing, and controlling the company's compliance with transfer pricing legislation requirements
• Preparing and submitting notifications of controlled transactions in accordance with the requirements and deadlines specified in the Russian Federation legislation

You are an excellent candidate for this role if you have:

• Higher education in Economics/Finance/Accounting/Tax
• Over 5 years of experience in taxation
• SAP knowledge
• Excellent Excel skills
• English language proficiency at B1 level
• Experience in team management and participation in cross-functional projects
