IT company CROC is looking for a Head of the SCADA Competency Center (Digital Manufacturing).
Tasks:
- Build interaction with a pool of reliable contractors and vendors;
- Create all work methodologies from scratch: from pre-sales preparation and design to implementation and commissioning;
- Participate in key projects on the executor's side as a technical director and chief coordinator;
- Create an internal structure of engineers and designers, and build a self-developing system;
- Gradually transfer key competencies to the internal team, leaving niche tasks to the partner ecosystem, and control quality at all levels;
- Actively participate in pre-sales: identify customer pain points, prepare convincing presentations and commercial proposals, be the main technical evangelist for the direction.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Full cycle of SCADA project management (from ToR to industrial operation) at the initial stage;
- Control of the development of all project documentation (GOST, working documentation);
- Organization of interaction between the customer, contractors, and internal company teams;
- Risk, deadline, and budget management of projects;
- Participation in testing, pilot operation, and acceptance of facilities.
Candidate Expectations:
- SCADA project management experience of 3+ years – you didn't just participate in projects, but built processes, selected technologies, and conducted complex negotiations;
- Expertise in hardware and software: deep knowledge of modern SCADA platforms, SCADA (Russian and foreign), industrial controllers, network technologies;
- Real experience working with industrial enterprises;
- Knowledge of standards (IEC, ISA, GOST) and principles of building reliable and secure SCADA systems. Understanding of IIoT and digital manufacturing trends;
- Higher technical education (automation, instrumentation, process control);
- Understanding of both the customer's technological processes and the basics of IT and cybersecurity of industrial systems;
- Ability to speak the customer's language, present solutions, and defend your position;
- Management experience, working with a team.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in building teams or departments "from scratch";
- Experience working both as an integrator/contractor and on the client's side.
