Yandex is looking for a Director General of the Data Center.
The Yandex Corporate Data Center (DPC) ensures the uninterrupted operation of services for the entire ecosystem. The DPC operates within a separate legal entity controlled by Yandex and is located in Sasovo. The task is to build, modernize, and continuously support the operation of the DPC's engineering infrastructure for Yandex's internal business units.
What tasks await you:
- Interaction with DPC employees and relevant structural divisions of Yandex: You will need to form, update, and monitor compliance with the DPC's local regulations governing its activities in accordance with the Russian Federation legislation. You will also participate in developing solutions related to the DPC's investment and operational activities, evaluating them from the perspective of compliance with the charter, Russian Federation legislation, and local DPC regulations.
- You will participate in the development of design and technological solutions, selection of suppliers and contractors, approval and conclusion of contracts and agreements with them. You will need to monitor compliance with contract terms: volumes, schedules, results, payments, as well as the acceptance of work results and as-built documentation, and commissioning.
- Your responsibilities will include assisting in forming the staff structure, hiring key employees, monitoring labor discipline, and regulating labor relations.
- You will also be responsible for overseeing the submission of reports, conducting business correspondence with contractors and government bodies, performing representative functions, and conducting negotiations.
Requirements:
- Higher education (technical, civil engineering, legal, financial, or management)
- At least ten years of work experience in production, construction, design, public service, or project management (consulting, engineering, operations)
- Managed a team of ten or more people
- Have a broad outlook, ready to master new areas of activity
- Ability to establish dialogue and find solutions for complex problems
