Director of IT Infrastructure Department for the Russian technology group YADRO.
The Russian technology group YADRO is seeking an IT Infrastructure Department Director to join the management team with a strong desire to achieve results, ready to develop team managers, capable of constructively approaching problem-solving, focusing on the main objectives, communicating the value of their decisions to employees, and keenly understanding when to delegate a solution to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure management (Data Centers, hardware, virtualization, cloud, observability, IaC);
- Development and implementation of the company's long-term IT development strategy within the division's strategy;
- Planning, coordination, and control of projects related to the implementation and support of IT solutions within the area of responsibility;
- Formation and management of IT teams, including recruitment, training, and motivation of employees;
- Monitoring team efficiency, current IT processes, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement.
- Implementation of new approaches and technologies to improve company operations.
- Formation of the department's budget, expense control, preparation of reports for company management;
- Coordination of interaction between the IT department and other divisions to achieve synergy and effective task completion;
- Contributing to the development of products, teams, and processes at the project level.
What we expect from our future team member:
- Higher education in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields;
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership positions in the IT industry;
- Experience managing 3-5 teams totaling over 30 people;
- Understanding of project management principles, successful experience managing large IT projects;
- Deep understanding of all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
- Budgeting skills, financial analysis, and resource management;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the company;
- High level of responsibility, initiative, strategic thinking;
- Desirable experience in development, DevOps, or testing.
