Leman PRO (Leroy Merlin) is looking for an Infrastructure Direction Director.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's IT infrastructure development and operation strategy in accordance with business goals, manage the budget and optimize the total cost of ownership
- Formulate a roadmap for the development and modernization of the IT infrastructure, set priorities and manage the implementation of infrastructure projects
- Plan and ensure technological capacity, timely updates, funding, and equipment procurement
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of the infrastructure (networks, servers, data centers, email, and workstation management systems)
- Manage failures, incidents, and the development of infrastructure availability levels
- Manage risks related to IT infrastructure availability, continuity, and security
- Implement monitoring and automation, including infrastructure as code
- Define SLA for infrastructure services and manage service levels for internal clients (stores, warehouses, adjacent dependent IT systems and products)
- Develop policies, standards, processes, regulations, and instructions for IT infrastructure management
- Plan, develop, and test the disaster recovery plan (DRP) for the company's infrastructure and critical systems
- Build communication with adjacent IT and business units of the company to manage expectations and align needs, representing the infrastructure at decision-making committees (architecture, security, etc.)
- Manage relationships with manufacturers, integrators, and suppliers of IT equipment and services within the area of responsibility
- Formulate requirements, define technical specifications, conduct commercial negotiations on contracts, and control the quality and deadlines for service delivery and equipment supply
- Manage teams of engineers and architects (30 people) — recruitment, development, motivation, define roles and areas of responsibility within the team
- Set goals, decompose tasks, plan execution, and evaluate performance
Requirements:
- Higher education
- Over 10 years of work experience in federal-scale companies and at least 5 years in infrastructure development with direct involvement in decision-making regarding the selection of technological and architectural solutions based on business requirements and constraints
- Technical background, mandatory experience in engineering and architectural work in the past, minimum 5 years
- Experience in infrastructure auditing, identifying IT requirements, developing and implementing operation and development strategies
- Experience in planning, designing, and managing projects for the implementation of IS and infrastructure components
- Experience in cost calculation and feasibility study evaluation of IT projects
- Experience in selecting and sizing both individual equipment and the solution as a whole
- Experience in building and operating high-availability IS and IT services as part of complex enterprise-level solutions, including LAN/structured cabling systems, server equipment and virtualization platforms, storage systems, storage resource control, email/VCS/Zoom/SfB, AD/DNS/IDM, DBMS, infrastructure for complex SAP/Oebs systems, building private cloud solutions, monitoring and performance analysis, cloud IaaS/PaaS services, modern K8 load management systems, etc.
- Experience in building fault-tolerant cluster solutions for servers and databases, including complex DR mechanisms
- Basic knowledge of information security processes, approaches, and technologies for implementing secure IT solutions
- Ability to change and implement changes in process models and ways of working in the IT environment
- English language — fluent reading, ability to support basic dialogue
