Sber2V IT group is looking for a Deputy Director of Infrastructure.
Sber2V is a Russian developer of IT and AI solutions for automating business processes, developing sales, and customer service, which help companies successfully scale in the digital age.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational management of the infrastructure department: monitor process execution, ensure compliance with standards, manage incidents and changes
- Plan the work of subordinates, allocate resources, monitor deadlines and quality of execution
- Participate in the department's project activities: from initiation to implementation, including procurement procedures and interaction with suppliers
- Be the technical leader for a team of 25+ engineers: assist with complex tasks, conduct code reviews of infrastructure configurations, participate in incident investigations
- Develop a culture of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation within the team, converting manual processes into manageable code
Requirements:
- Experience in managing a team of 25+ people. Ability to orchestrate work, assign tasks, monitor execution, and develop employees
- Technical background allowing for a deep understanding of Linux, web servers, and load balancers (nginx, haproxy, WAF), OS security tools (AVPO, EDR)
- Knowledge of how product key services work: DBMS and message brokers, understanding their architecture, ability to diagnose performance issues
- Advanced understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Git
- Understanding of how data transmission networks work at a sufficient level for effective communication with the network engineering team and decision-making
- Willingness to combine managerial work with technical expertise
Will be a plus if:
- Experience working in the financial sector or regulated industries (knowledge of information security requirements, approval processes)
- Experience migrating infrastructure from imported solutions to Russian counterparts
- Ability to automate processes using Python or other scripting languages
