The YADRO group of Russian technology companies is looking for an Head of IT Infrastructure Department to join the management team with a strong desire to achieve results, ready to develop team managers, able to constructively approach problem-solving, focus on the main things, communicate the value of their decisions to employees, and subtly understand when to delegate a decision to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure management (data centers, hardware, virtualization, cloud, observability, iac)
- Development and implementation of the company's long-term IT development strategy within the division's strategy
- Planning, coordination, and control of projects related to the implementation and support of IT solutions within the area of responsibility
- Formation and management of IT teams, including recruitment, training, and motivation of employees
- Control of team efficiency, current IT processes, identification of opportunities for cost optimization and productivity improvement
- Implementation of new approaches and technologies to improve company operations
- Formation of the department budget, expense control, preparation of reports for company management
- Coordination of interaction between the IT department and other division departments to achieve synergy and effective task completion
- Contribute to the development of products, teams, and processes at the project level
What we expect from a future team member:
- Higher education in information technology, business administration, or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership positions in the IT industry
- Experience leading 3-5 teams of 30+ people
- Understanding of project management principles, experience in successful management of large IT projects
- Deep understanding of all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Budgeting skills, financial performance analysis, and resource management
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the company
- High level of responsibility, initiative, strategic thinking
- Desirable experience in development, DevOps, or testing
